SD’s Back to Normal Plan

On Tuesday, Governor Noem released her plan to help South Dakota get back to normal. Noem’s plan includes guidance for employers, schools, retail businesses, health care providers, local government and individuals. Also outlined in the plan is criteria to initiate these steps. The criteria includes downward trajectory of Covid cases and ability to perform provider recommended tests all persons with symptoms.

Across the plan is a consistent message to continue practicing good hygiene, staying home when sick, and exercising physical distancing. Despite the continuation of these practices, Noem’s plan does include transitioning back to normalcy.
