May is Older Americans Month

​Every May, the Administration for Community Living (ACL) leads our nation’s observance of Older Americans Month. This year’s theme, “Make Your Mark,” highlights the difference everyone can make – in the lives of older adults, in support of caregivers, and to strengthen communities.  Our Older Americans have made countless contributions  to our lives and to this nation.

Make your mark this May, the ACL website provides artwork, activity ideas, and other materials to help you observe Older Americans Month. Visit the Activity Ideas page for ideas on how to inspire your community members to share their stories while distancing.​ Don’t forget to share your #OAM2020 plans and stories on social media.
