96th Legislative Session Underway

The 96th South Dakota State Legislative session is underway. When it comes to healthcare policy, legislation and issues important to our healthcare members – turn to the South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations. CEO Tim Rave and our Director of Fiscal Policy, Sarah Aker are in Pierre staying on top of the issues that matter to our members. To help you stay on top of legislative action, visit the SDAHO Bill Tracker. There you will be able to follow healthcare related bills as they work their way through the system. Our team will provide updates every day on the bill tracker, including any changes made by lawmakers.  A direct link to the SD Legislative research council will also be located on the SDAHO website, where you can find more information on the issues that matter to you. Each week through our newsletter, SDAHO will provide legislative updates to our members, including audio clips from committee hearings and floor debates. Last – to help keep you even more connected, visit us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, where the information you need during this year’s legislative session is just a click away.
