This presentation will feature an overview of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine in phase 3. Participants will also receive an overview on Moderna TX Inc, MRNA-1273 Vaccine in phase 3. Real world data regarding the COVID-19 vaccine will be submitted for participants. Details regarding the safety of the vaccine and pregnancy will be outlined in the presentation. Additionally, COVID-19 vaccines to be included in the presentation are AstraZeneca (phase 3) and Johnson and Johnson. Participants will also be brought up to speed on the latest variant of SARS-CoV-2.

Presenter: 

Dr. Santiago Lopez has served in many areas as a healthcare professional including an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine. Dr. Lopez is a pediatric infectious disease physician at Sanford Children’s Specialty Clinic in Sioux Falls. Dr. Lopez also serves as Chair of the comprehensive unit-based safety program for central line infection reduction at Sanford Health and serves as a Physician-Scientist for Environmental Influences on Health and Disease group through Sanford Research.
