The Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) has released guidelines and opened the application process for the Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience (GUIDE) model. This model will test a value-based reimbursement system for participating providers and will include a dementia care navigator for the patients of those providers. Qualifying clinics can submit their applications via the CMMI web portal by the deadline of Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at 11:59 PM EST.
