Overview:

Communication that informs and fosters well-being across the diversity of preferences, perspectives, and platforms calls for the ‘soft skills’ of learning to hear and value the ‘voice’ of self and others. The content and format of this presentation are designed to engage participants in thoughtful reflection and dialogue about a communication tool that speaks into the relational dynamics of effective communication.

Presenter: Laurie Dirnberger, MA, CEAP, EAP Trainer and Consultant
Laurie has been an employee assistance professional with the Avera Employee Assistance Program since 2018. In her role, she designs and delivers leadership trainings, as well as consults with leadership in addressing workplace concerns. Laurie received her bachelor’s degree in Education and masters degree in English as a Second Language from universities in St. Paul, Minnesota. Having lived and worked in multiple states, Laurie’s passion is to engage with people in their life stories by equipping them with tools to be lifelong learners.
