SDAHO’s Post-Acute Partners in Care Conference is scheduled for April 8-9, at the Sioux Falls Convention Center.
Even though this fantastic event is over 3 months away there are some important deadlines coming up.
January 31 is the deadline to register your facility to take part in the 2nd Annual Facility Art Contest.
This year’s art contest’s theme is “Seasons of Life”. Art entries will represent the different stages of life through seasonal imagery and will be showcased at this year’s conference. Activity Directors of nursing home and assisted living facilities must lead this fun activity, with the final project being completed by residents. The project should reflect the theme and can include anything from a painting, furniture, mosaic, sculpture, mural, quilt, rug, – anything you would like to create. We want you to tell us your story through art created by residents.
There is no cost to participate, with the main goal to make this a fun activity for staff and residents.
Attendees at the conference will vote, with the top three winners receiving cash prizes:
- First Place $2500
- Second Place $1500
- Third Place $750
Don’t miss out on this fun opportunity to showcase your facilities creative art skills, while sharing your story. Click here to enter your facility into the contest.
