The South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations (SDAHO) is excited to welcome Del Gilbert, Founder of Accelerating Excellence, as this year’s opening keynote speaker at the Post-Acute Partners in Care Conference. This year’s event is the Associations 25th year hosting a long-term care conference with the theme Embracing the Seasons of Change and will take place April 8-9, 2025, at the Sioux Falls Convention Center.
Del is not only the founder of Accelerating Excellence, but he is a well-known speaker and consultant, sharing his enthusiasm and knowledge with those he connects with, focusing on building high-performance in people and organizations.
Del has held leadership positions in the healthcare field for 35 years. He served as Chief Learning Officer and Director of Organizational and Service Excellence at St. Joseph Healthcare for 15 years. While at St. Joseph, employee engagement ranked in the upper 20% nationally. In addition, all six service lines were ranked in the upper 33% in Patient Satisfaction.
Del holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Business Administration. He is a Certified Leadership Coach and a Certified Master Trainer.
He delivers nearly 100 workshops and presentations annually. His communication style is clear, practical and inspirational.
