The South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations (SDAHO) recently completed its biennial membership engagement survey. The electronic survey was sent via email to nearly 80 executive leaders and achieved an overall participation rate of 47 percent.
The survey included questions related to strategic vision, structure and representation, communications services and value of membership. It used both quantitative and qualitative methods to gather important feedback and included approximately 20 targeted follow-up phone surveys.
The information from the survey will be used by the board of directors to help focus and shape future direction on issues and valuable member services. Specifically, the board will use the information to guide the upcoming strategic planning process and to identify and establish strategic priorities for the next few years.
