On Monday Bryan Slaba, CEO of Wagner Community Memorial Hospital Avera, accepted the 2017 Rural Hospital Leadership Award for his accomplishments with social determinants. The award was presented to him by the American Hospital Association’s CEO Rick Pollack at the annual Rural Health Care Leadership Conference in Phoenix, Arizona.
The award recognizes small or rural hospital chief executives and administrators who have achieved improvements in local health delivery and health status through their leadership and direction. Click here to read more.
