2nd Annual South Dakota CHW Conference

The Community Health Worker Collaborative of South Dakota (CHWSD) is excited to host the Second Annual South Dakota Community Health Worker Conference.

This conference is an opportunity for CHWs, CHRs, Supervisors and Allies to come together for a day-and-a-half of networking and education and to learn more about Community Health Worker (CHW) initiatives and workforce development in South Dakota.

The conference features two keynote presentations:

• Addressing Self-Care and Avoiding Burnout – Tasha Whitaker, CHW – Crew Wellness, LLC
• Continuing to Grow and Unify the Workforce – Lisa Renee Holderby-Fox, CHW and Durrell Fox, CHW
• Workforce Panel of CHWs and CHRs
• Breakout Sessions for CHWs/CHRs, Supervisors, and Allies

This conference is offered at no cost this year due to grant funding made available to the South Dakota Department of Health, Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion.
