Overview:

Bullying can occur in any employee group. If it is allowed to fester in the medical workplace your best employees may be forced to resign, patient care is at risk, and employee morale suffers. This presentation will look at:

• Traits of a workplace bully and their targets
• Review of statistics of workplace bullying
• Discuss effective strategies and communication to put an end to bullying in the medical workplace.

Tim Heerts has a Bachelor of Arts in Education degree from Central College of Iowa, and earned his Master of Arts in Counseling degree from Sioux Falls Seminary. He has been in the counseling field for 35 years, with over 25 years specializing in the EAP field. Tim has been delivering professional presentations on a wide range of EAP-related topics for diverse audiences throughout his career.
