Overview:

QPR is a training that teaches 3 simple steps that anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. Just as people trained in CPR help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help.

Presenter: Catelyn Reimnitz, Suicide Prevention Coordinator, Helpline Center

Catelyn Reimnitz has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Bemidji State University and a Master of Arts degree in Forensic Psychology from the University of North Dakota. She has worked in the field of mental health since graduating from college in 2017, across different domains from in-patient psychiatric units to case management to state government. She is a certified trainer in multiple suicide prevention trainings and enjoys connecting to communities through these trainings. In her down time she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
