Supporting Caregivers of Veterans with Dementia at End of Life

They will discuss supporting caregivers of Veterans with dementia at end of life, integrating findings from their study, Supporting Caregivers of Veterans with Dementia.

This presentation will also include:

• A review of dementia and the unique focus within hospice care on the patient-caregiver dyad
• A discussion on experiences of caregivers caring for Veterans with dementia at end of life, including demographics, unique needs, and risk factors
