Event Details

This workshop describes the signs and symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease to then take a deeper look into the behaviors those living with Alzheimer’s may display. This includes wandering, sundown syndrome, and aggressive/agitative behaviors. The goal is to recognize these behaviors as attempts to fulfill an unmet need – to help others search past the behaviors and discover what the individual is trying to communicate. This approach will help professionals, caregivers and family members learn to separate the individual from the disease to then provide support and identify the unique needs of each person affected by Alzheimer’s disease.

Registration fee is $25.
