Bucket list (n.)
: a list of things that one has not done before but wants to do before dying. Comes from the term “kicked the bucket.” I need to remember to add skydiving to my bucket list.

  • Play basketball at the White House with former President Barack Obama
  • Be on Oprah
  • Have a beer with Prince Harry in London

Looks like the beginnings of a pretty audacious list, doesn’t it?

Join us at SDAHO’s 91st Annual Convention in Rapid City, Sept. 20–22 to hear firsthand how our opening speaker, Ben Nemtin, has spent the last 10 years crossing all types of ambitious items off his bucket list and helping people he met along the journey do the same.

With their final days of college fast approaching and adulthood looming in the near-future, Ben and his friends made the decision to grab a camera, borrow an RV and take off on a two-week cross-country trip to complete a list of “100 things to do before you die.” However, this road trip grew into something much more: the MTV series “The Buried Life”, a bestselling book, a movie and a movement.

What started as a near-impossible list of dreams scribbled on a scrap of paper in a college dorm room became an inspiration for people to unbury the life they want, take on their own dreams and make them reality. Ben will encourage us to shake off mediocrity and live up to our own greatness. As we commence the 91st Annual Convention, he’ll fire up the crowd to start living life to the full potential. It’s never too late to start your list!
