Applications are being accepted through April 6 for the Foster G. McGaw Prize for Excellence in Community Service, an honor awarded to hospitals that have distinguished themselves through exceptional commitment to community service.
The Baxter Allegiance Foundation, the American Hospital Association and the Health Research & Educational Trust offer the Foster G. McGaw Prize to recognize outstanding relationships between a hospital and its community to improve the health and well-being of the people. Winners and finalists demonstrate a continuous commitment in making their communities healthier.
A prize of $100,000 will be awarded to one health system or hospital, while up to three finalists will receive $10,000 each.
