The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has notified post-acute care facilities – inpatient rehabilitation facilities (IRF), long-term care hospitals (LTCH), skilled nursing facilities (SNF) and hospices – that were determined to be non-compliant with Quality Reporting Program (QRP) requirements for CY 2017.
The notifications were sent by Medicare administrative contractors and were placed in the facility’s CASPER folders in QIES on July 9. Facilities that receive a letter of non-compliance may submit a request for reconsideration to CMS via email no later than 11:59 p.m. PST, August 7.
