Employment at hospitals in the United States rose by 8,200 jobs in August as compared to July, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported last week. Compared to a year ago, 94,600 more people are employed in hospitals today.
The nation’s overall unemployment rate was changed in August at 3.9 percent.
