April is Donate Life America’s National Donate Life Month with a special day in the month designated to bring extra awareness to the need of organ donation. This year, National Donate Life Blue & Green Day is April 17. People are encouraged to wear blue and green and to engage in sharing the Donate Life message and promoting the importance of registering as an organ, eye and tissue donor. This day is also about honoring those that have saved lives through the gift of donation.
