Medicaid Flexibilities Extended to December 30, 2020

The South Dakota Department of Social Services announced on May 28, the extension of previously issued Executive Orders for South Dakota (2020-07 and 2020-16). Both executive orders provided additional flexibilities to Medicaid Providers and recipients regarding dispensing of prescription medication and the use of telemedicine for health care delivery. Executive Order 2020-26 extends the flexibilities until December 30, 2020, unless terminated sooner.
