There have been exciting things happening in South Dakota around Cancer. Over the past five years the South Dakota Department of Health has partnered with several health care organizations, including some of SDAHO’s members, to increase colorectal cancer screening rates. Outcomes from the project are highlighted in this infographic​.
​Better Choices, Better Health® will be offering a new self-management program geared towards adults with cancer or caregivers of someone with cancer. The SD Cancer: Thriving & Surviving​ Better Choices, Better Health® workshops will be offered free of charge and will done via Zoom web conferencing.
