Waiver Woes & What’s Next

Is your facility utilizing the 1135 waiver correctly?  Do you have ICD-10 coding or Minimum Data Set (MDS) documentation concerns surrounding COVID-19? On Monday, October 26, 10am MST/11am CST, Melanie Tribe-Scott, RN, RAC-MTA QCP, Director of Clinical Reimbursement Education at MDS Consultants, will provide answers to questions surrounding Section 1135 of the Social Security Act and appropriate application and documentation needed to support the waiver.  In addition, she will address changes to the Patient Driven Payment Model Mapping tool, ICD-10 and MDS coding concerns, delays in new skilled nursing facility quality reporting program quality measures, and potential reimbursement updates.

This presentation is intended for long-term care administrators, directors of nursing, MDS coordinators, and other positions that deal directly with long-term care reimbursement.
