SDAHO welcomes Loretta Bryan! Loretta recently joined SDAHO as the Clinical Improvement Consultant. Within this position, Loretta will work closely with hospital quality staff and leadership to promote hospital best practices and deploy clinical initiatives that improve quality, patient safety and value.
Loretta has been an RN for over 20 years, with experience in long term care, home health, clinic, and acute-care hospital. She comes to SDAHO from Douglas County Memorial Hospital in Amour, SD. There she served as the HQIC quality reporting nurse, infection control officer, in addition to a resource and floor nurse. In her new role as the Clinic Improvement Consultant, Loretta will support over 50 Compass HQIC hospitals and the Flex Program with South Dakota critical access hospitals. Loretta is taking on the role previously served by Jennifer Everson.
Loretta lives in Platte, SD and will be working remotely from her home. She is married and has 2 boys ages 6 and 10. She graduated from USD with her associate degree in nursing in 1997. She received her Bachelor of Nursing degree from SDSU in 2000. When not working, Loretta enjoys spending time with friends and family.
