The South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations welcomes Kelsey Grady! Kelsey recently joined SDAHO as the Enterprises Development Manager. Within the Enterprises division, Kelsey will work on the development of relationships with SDAHO members and Business Partners.
Kelsey comes to SDAHO with experience in business management, her most recent employment was as Interim Business Manager for Grand Living in Sioux Falls. She is a graduate of the University of South Dakota, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration, with an emphasis in Health Services Administration from the Beacom School of Business. Kelsey was very active within the campus community while attending USD. In addition to serving as a Student Ambassador for the University of South Dakota Foundation and Alumni Association, Kelsey was very active with university sponsored programs. She was a Dean’s Ambassador for the Business School, President of Healthcare Executives Advancing in Leadership, President of Campus Activities Board, Finance Chair and Director of Communications for the Student Government Association, and a member of the business fraternities Delta Sigma Pi and Beta Gamma Sigma. According to Kelsey, she “wasn’t home much” during college.
In her new role as Enterprises Business Development Manager, Kelsey will work out of the Sioux Falls office. Some of her first goals are to improve efficiencies and add new business partners to increase value for SDAHO members. Kelsey looks forward to meeting members in the weeks ahead and initiating the planning process for Enterprises events, such as the Sunrise Golf Classic.
Kelsey is a Sioux Falls native, graduating from Lincoln High School. Even in high school she was involved with organizations focusing on business development, including DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America). The program prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.
When Kelsey is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and puppy. Kelsey continues to support USD and says, “if there is a USD Football home game taking place, you will definitely find us at the dome.”
