SDAHO Hosts 340B Drug Panel Session

SDAHO will host a panelist discussion of topics related to 340B on November 11 at 12-1pm CT. Join pharmacists from Avera, Monument and Sanford as they discuss the 340B program.

For 25+ years, the 340B program has allowed qualifying safety-net providers and qualifying hospitals to purchase prescription drugs at reduced prices. In turn, hospitals and health systems of all kinds, sizes and forms of ownership deliver a wide variety of benefits designed to meet the unique needs of their communities. Attend this moderated panel discussion to gain perspective from 340B health system experts. Panelists will provide an overview of the program, discuss current challenges, address how this impacts South Dakota’s hospitals and communities, and work being done to protect this vital program.
