SDAHO Recognizes Isaac Gerdes of Sanford Webster Hospital & Medical Center as Hometown Healthcare Hero

To help member facilities with workforce needs, SDAHO has launched the Hometown Healthcare Heroes campaign. The campaign is designed to recognize and celebrate member facilities, the people that work there and the communities they live in. Each month SDAHO will highlight a member facility and the job opportunities at that facility. In addition, community members share insight on the business environment, housing options, details about the school system, and some of the amenities within the town and surrounding area.

Isaac Gerdes is the Senior Director of the Sanford Webster Hospital & Medical Center. Isaac also serves as the Administrator for both the Bethesda Home Heritage Village Senior Care Center, a full-service Medicare/Medicaid certified long term care facility and the Heritage Village Independent Apartments. When Isaac first moved to the Webster Community, one of his favorite things to do was drive around town to see the excitement in the streets of Webster. “The entire downtown is full, there is new businesses and lots of energy everywhere.” Webster is the county seat in Day County and is a thriving rural community with lots of outdoor recreational opportunities in addition to job growth.  When it comes to healthcare workforce needs, Webster is like many healthcare facilities across the state, with several open positions.  Isaac shares his thoughts on his appreciation for the Webster Community in addition to the current job opportunities within the Webster Healthcare community.
