SDAHO Long-Term Care Weekly Update: A New Resource for Members

The South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations (SDAHO) is excited to announce another resource for members, our long-term care (LTC) weekly update. Since March 2020, SDAHO COO, Tammy Hatting, has provided an end of week email to post-acute member facilities to help them navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic. These emails became a crucial lifeline and a trusted source for quick and up-to-date information for our LTC members to help them stay on top of the many regulatory and policy changes taking place in the industry. SDAHO is now expanding this essential resource to all members in addition to providing access to the detailed weekly updates created over the course of the pandemic!

Each week, through our Unified Voice Newsletter, recipients will receive an overview of the LTC weekly update, with a direct link to the full version available to members only. Each LTC weekly update will include concise details and links on both state and federal regulation or policy changes, funding opportunities, advocacy, education, and trending stories. Should members want to read the full weekly update, they are just a click away. “We are excited about this new, secure way to deliver industry updates for our SDAHO members. It has been a challenging time for all of healthcare, but especially those in post-acute care. Our goal is to provide a unified resource and archive of changes to help members stay connected and to serve members with pride as your partner in care for the residents of South Dakota. ” Tammy Hatting, SDAHO, COO.
