Is your facility ready for the next crisis or emergency?
SDAHO invites ​hospital and nursing home emergency preparedness planners, leadership teams and clinical nurse leaders to join SDAHO, the South Dakota Healthcare Coalition and the South Dakota Department of Health, as they review scenarios related to crisis standards of care. This roundtable discussion will include escalation of medical care during large scale emergencies and communication between hospitals, nursing homes, EMS and other community partners. Attendees will participate in scenario-based learning by conducting 3-minute exercises on various emergencies and incidents. Panelists will help attendees identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement. There is no cost to register for this special event, click here to register.
