SDAHO Congratulates Candice Crownover, Newest CPHQ

SDAHO congratulates Candice Crownover, RN, on passing the Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) exam. Candice is the Director of Patient Services at St. Michael’s Hospital Avera in Tyndall, SD. When asked what it means to her for passing this exam, she states “I wanted to invest the time and resources into CPHQ certification in order to enhance my skills and knowledge in the world of quality. Safe and effective care is of utmost importance and as quality professionals we need as many tools in our toolbox as we can to help break through barriers and build our systems stronger. I believe in lifelong learning and this was an area I knew could enhance my knowledge and my future.” Candice says she works at a facility that has safety as a priority and this certification was a way she could not only maintain that culture of safety but help to build on that foundation.
This certification was made possible through the SD FLEX grant from the SD Department of Health. We are proud of Candice for accomplishing this goal.

Congratulations Candice!
