Now available online- South Dakota Palliative Care Program Directory. SDAHO’s 2024 summer interns, Swetha Kalapatapu and Rema Chande completed a palliative care directory as part of their RISE UP internship. Potential programs were identified, and cold calls made to confirm if the organization had a formal program that offered palliative care by an individual or a team that had either training or specialty certification in palliative care.
The intent of the directory is for healthcare professionals to easily locate and refer to programs in our state. The map makes it easy to visualize program locations. The directory contains the city in which you can find the program, the facility name, name(s) of the healthcare professionals associated with the program, if they have specialty certification, their title, a program phone number and facility address.
