The South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations (SDAHO) has been honored with the Disability Employment Partner Program Award, presented by Employment Disability Resources in partnership with the City’s Disability Awareness and Accessibility Review Board (DAARB).
About the Award & Nomination
Established in 2013, the Disability Employment Partner Program award recognizes businesses that actively employ individuals with disabilities. SDAHO joins a distinguished group of over 250 businesses across the region that have earned this distinction.
Anyone can nominate an organization for the award. SDAHO was nominated by DAARB board member Pat Herman, who serves on the board alongside Michele Snyders, SDAHO’s Hospice and Palliative Care Program Manager. Michele lives with Multiple Sclerosis and continues to be a vital advocate for healthcare and accessibility in our community.
