LeadingAge has developed and released a new 11-minute QuickCast on the issues surrounding the implementation of firearm policies in elder communities. The purpose of the QuickCast is to provide a basic framework for LeadingAge members to understand the issues surrounding weapons and the importance of consulting with an attorney for state and local interpretation of the law before implementing a weapons policy.
The QuickCast, Weapons Policies in Aging Services Organizations, is available on the LeadingAge Learning Hub and is free for LeadingAge members.
