Face It TOGETHER South Dakota to Host Walk to Bring Awareness to Addiction

Face It TOGETHER, South Dakota is hosting March into the Light, an annual event to bring awareness to addiction and recovery. This recovery celebration will include an inspirational walk, in addition individuals will share personal stories of resilience and hope. The event is FREE and takes place Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 6am. The route will start at Swamp Daddy’s (421 N Phillips Ave) and take walkers through downtown Sioux Falls and Falls Park.

The public is invited, and dogs are welcome, to attend this annual and growing event that celebrates addiction recovery, raises awareness and fosters community. During the walk, participants will walk into the sunrise as a powerful reminder that none of us are alone on our journeys.

Face It TOGETHER is a peer-based nonprofit organization that uses data, and science to help individual struggling with addiction. There are two locations, one in Colorado and one in South Dakota. Addiction support for the South Dakota location includes in-person sessions in Sioux Falls, in addition to over the phone and secure video. Click here to view the flier.
