The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine Roundtable on Quality Care for People with Serious Illness will host a webinar series on Changing Public Perceptions to Build Awareness, Knowledge, and Uptake of Palliative Care: An Evidence-based Approach. The webinars will highlight important research, showcase an on-line toolkit and other resources and share the experiences of organizations that have used the toolkit to improve public outreach about palliative care.
The final webinar in the series will provide concrete examples of how the evidence-based principles have been applied to change public outreach about palliative care. Examples will be drawn from a national organization, an academic medical center, and a health care system.
