Trump nominates Gottlieb to serve as FDA commissioner
President Donald Trump on Monday nominated Dr. Scott Gottlieb to lead the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Gottlieb, a 44-year-old physician, is a fellow at the conservative think tank American Enterprise Institute, researching health policy, regulation and public health.

U.S. Sen. Mike Rounds on Tuesday introduced a bill to provide for a comprehensive audit of the Indian Health Service (IHS).
