Presenter:

Brian Bell, Managing Director, FORVIS

Brian Bell is a member of FORVIS’ Health Care Performance Improvement.  He has more than 18 years of experience helping health systems, academic medical centers, community hospitals and community health centers grow their organizations through consulting services that include financial, regulatory and reimbursement analysis. Brian’s experience prior to FORVIS includes consulting services with a large international accounting firm and a regional accounting firm.

Brian has extensive experience with the 340B Drug Pricing Program and providing clients with regulatory assistance to improve reimbursement.  He has worked with a national IT company to implement 340B split-billing software for hospitals and has led numerous 340B compliance assessments. He has assisted providers with managing their 340B implementations, including registration, vendor selection, software implementation and policy and procedure development and is a frequent speaker on different aspects of the 340B Drug Pricing Program. One of Brian’s focuses is on assisting providers with tackling the opioid epidemic.  He has assisted providers with assessing opioid diversion, opioid prescribing trends, opioid policies and procedures and developing a monitoring strategy.

Additionally, he also focuses on revenue cycle transformation, integrity improvement and compliance. He helps providers redesign key revenue cycle processes and structures, review vendor performance, accelerate cash programs and increase management’s accountability tools. Brian is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and also an individual member of 340B Health. Brian is a 2004 magna cum laude graduate of Ohio University, Athens, with a B.S. degree in health services administration.
