HIPAA and Reproductive Health Final Rule (HIPAA Updates & Changes)

Overview:

On April 22, 2024, the Office of Civil Rights issued a Final Rule, titled HIPAA Privacy Rule to Support Reproductive Health Care Privacy. This Final Rule goes into effect on December 23, 2024. During our session, we will review the Final Rule and what this means to healthcare facilities. We will also cover what Avera Health has been working on and our planned roll out to comply with this Final Rule.
