Event Details

Overview:

Follow up session to Why Change can be an Uphill Battle from May 4. Now that we’ve learned the difference between change and transition, discussed change fatigue, and explored the different types of loss that occur with organizational change, it’s time to focus on successfully navigating change in the workplace. Change in an organization occurs when individuals change and not everyone is ready to change at the same time. By assessing an employee or team’s readiness for change, we learn what obstacles they are facing and how to overcome those. Lastly, organizational change must be effectively communicated if it is going to be successful.

Objectives:
  • Recognize that organizational change management is about individual behaviors.
  • Develop strategies to successfully navigate change for you and your team by assessing readiness for change.
  • Discuss ways to effectively communicate organizational change.
