Demi Haffenreffer, RN, MBA has been working in nursing homes since 1973. She owns a consulting firm in Portland, Oregon, Haffenreffer and Associates, Inc., that assists Nursing Homes, Assisted Living facilities, and Hospitals, with regulatory compliance and implementing programs to improve care. Her depth of knowledge, breadth of experience and her communication skills have made her a sought after resource and advocate for facilities facing regulatory disputes, as well as for expert review and testimony for attorneys facing litigation in the Pacific Northwest and nationwide. She loves to talk and to teach!

Demi has taught workshops nationally and internationally and has authored five policy and procedure manuals. In 2011, Demi assisted the Colorado Foundation for Medical Care with a CMS grant to publish the Model Program for Quality Performance called “QAPI.” Always in pursuit of learning, in 2020, Demi obtained a certification as an Infection Preventionist. When Demi is not in a nursing home, she is doing yoga, cooking gourmet dinners for family and friends, or working in her Northwest Portland garden.

Registration: Registration for this series is per connection needed at a facility. This allows multiple staff members to participate in the education using one connection. Prior registration is required to ensure connection information and applicable materials are distributed prior to the webinars. The registration fee for this webinar is $149 per SDAHO Member facility /$199 per non-member facility.
