Overview:

All meaningful human interaction requires the “mining” of conflicting experiences, viewpoints, and stakeholder position. The reality is that we have been oriented to shy away from conflict. The ability to step into communication understanding that robust interaction results in better outcomes for all. This session provides managers and team members the tools they need to enter into their work with other humans in a manner that results in stronger relationship bonds and outcomes that are for the good of the team and the organization they serve.

Presenter:

Margaret J. Sumption, MSED, LPC, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, has over thirty-five years of experience as a teacher and counselor, nonprofit administrator, development officer, and volunteer board member serving a wide variety of organizations. She is a popular, dynamic, and effective speaker for nonprofit professionals, associations, and policy makers.

Registration for this webinar series is per connection needed at a facility. This allows multiple staff members to participate in the education using one connection. Prior registration is required to ensure connection information and applicable materials are distributed prior to the webinars. The registration fee for this series is $249 per SDAHO Member facility/$399 per non-member facility.
