Overview:

This presentation will provide a comprehensive overview on substance use disorder treatment services available in the state of South Dakota. The presentation will include information on the intensive methamphetamine treatment services and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT). Materials from the campaigns and other community resources will be made available during the presentation.

Learning Objectives:
  1. Learn about community treatment programs which will include inpatient, residential, and outpatient providers
  2. Explain best practices for serving clients with methamphetamine use disorders including information in the Intensive Methamphetamine Treatment programs
  3. Identify Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) and additional services available for clients with Opioid Use Disorders
Presenter:

Stacy Krall currently serves as the Addiction Program Specialist for the South Dakota Division of Behavioral Health. In this role, Stacy works directly with the accredited substance use agencies to provide support for specialized programs and technical assistance. As well as working with the community agencies, she oversees high intensity placements, and evidence based services. Stacy has worked for the Division of Behavioral Health for the past 7 years.
