The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has issued the proposed rules updating the outpatient prospective payment system (OPPS) and physician fee schedule (PFS) for calendar year 2018. Fact sheets for both the OPPS and PFS proposed rules are also available.
SDAHO is currently analyzing the proposed rules and will provide members with additional information and impact analysis in the next few weeks. The proposed rules for the OPPS and PFS can be downloaded from the Federal Register.
CMS will accept comments on the proposed rules until September 11, 2017.
