CARES Act Post-payment Reporting

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) this week shared additional information on reporting requirements for providers that have received CARES Act relief funds. If providers have received one or more payments exceeding an aggregate amount of $10,000, reports to HHS on how the funds have been expended will be required. HHS will open the portal on October 1st 2020. HHS is expected to provided detailed instructions by August 17, 2020 and will be hosting educational session regarding these reports.
