DSS Public Hearing on Behavioral Health Telemedicine and Audio-Only Services

The Department of Social Services (DSS) will be holding a public hearing on July 9 at 11:00 am CST at the DSS Building in Sioux Falls to consider behavioral health rules related to telemedicine.

The proposed rules would allow for the continuation of telemedicine and audio-only services as reimbursable services following the end of the pandemic. After the hearing, DSS will consider all comments received on the proposed rules. Public comment can be made in person at the hearing, virtually by calling 1-844-833-2681 and using conference code 0094258#, or by mail to Teresa Schulte, Administrative Rules, Department of Social Services, 811 East 10th Street, Sioux Falls, SD 57103. Comments sent by mail must be received by July 19th, 2021.
