The South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations welcomes Becky Heisinger! Becky recently joined SDAHO as the Director of Quality Integration. Within the position, Becky will oversee the management of SDAHO’s grant opportunities and SDAHO’s Clinical Improvement team.
Becky has over 22 years of experience working within the healthcare industry specializing in grant and project management. Becky comes to SDAHO from Sanford Health, where she served as the Supervisor of Grants Office. In this position, Becky supervised the pre-award and post-award activities of federal, federal pass-through, state, and private foundation grants. Prior to Sanford Health, Becky worked with Avera Health and Avera Health Plans in their Grant Office and Sales and Marketing Department. In her new role with SDAHO, Becky will provide oversight for SDAHO’s latest grant awards which include a mix of state, federal, and private funds. Becky will also work closely with the Clinical Improvement team to promote hospital best practices as they assist with clinical initiatives that improve quality, patient safety and value. Becky is taking on the role previously served by Kristin Bunt.
Becky lives in Sioux Falls. She is married with 2 children both attending college. She is a Nebraska native and a graduate of Mount Marty University in Yankton where she received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting. Becky earned her MBA from the University of Sioux Falls. When not working, Becky enjoys spending time reading, walking her dog, and spending time with family.
