Monument Health Hospital to Share Process Improvement at CMS Quality Conference

SDAHO is very excited to announce Amanda Karrels along with Monument Health Sturgis Hospital will display their process improvement poster board on Sepsis at this year’s CMS Virtual Quality Conference during the Gallery Walk. This year’s CMS Quality Conference will be held on May 1-3, 2023. This conference is the premier health care quality conference focused on improving quality, equity and innovation. Leaders in the health care space will explore and educate how advocates, providers, researchers, and champions in health care quality improvement can develop and spread solution to address America’s most pervasion health system challenges.

Amanda and the team at Sturgis worked tirelessly to educate and improve on their sepsis bundle compliance. They started this journey in July 2021 and now have seen 100% compliance with the sepsis bundle. Their poster will be displayed with other quality improvement posters/projects selected by CMS from across the United States. Congratulations to Amanda Karrels and Monument Health Sturgis Hospitals.
