Project Firstline trainings are designed to allow healthcare workers of any training level or educational background to understand and apply the infection control principles and protocols necessary to protect themselves, their facility, their family, and their community from infectious disease threats, such as COVID-19. Trainings are approximately 10 minutes and designed to reach healthcare workers in all settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, dialysis centers and nursing homes.
Project Firstline’s first training, COVID-19 and Infection Control: The Basics, will be released in mid-November.
In addition to AHA, partners in the CDC initiative include the American Nurses Association, National Association of County and City Health Officials, American Academy of Pediatrics and others.
