340B & Retention: Upcoming Sessions on Hot Topics!

In November, SDAHO will host sessions on hot topics impacting healthcare providers in South Dakota. The 340B Drug Pricing Program provides discounted prices on covered outpatient drugs to eligible entities. Due to the program’s growth, there has been increasing scrutiny in the political sector heavily focused on compliance and optimization.

On November 11, South Dakota health system experts will provide an overview of the program, share the impact this has on the state, current challenges, and work being done to protect this vital program. To register, click here.

Another topic impacting South Dakota healthcare providers is retaining staff. SDAHO will host a session on November 16 with executive compensation experts to share best practices and competitive advantages when structuring overall compensation and benefits for leadership teams and key physicians and providers. This session will cover impacts of the new House Bill 1154, Prohibition on Healthcare Non-Compete Employment Contracts in South Dakota; discuss best practices on structuring plans and share ways to enhance your organization’s ability to retain top level talent through the use of customized SERP arrangements.
