Celebrate National Hospital Week May 12-18, 2024

South Dakota Association of Healthcare Association is celebrating National Hospital Week May 12-18, 2024. National Hospital Week is an opportunity to highlight our hospitals, health systems and health care workers and the innovative ways they are supporting and connected to their community.

SDAHO encourages everyone to join in the celebration of National Hospital Week recognizing our hospitals, health systems, and health care professionals working to care patients and the communities they live in, across South Dakota.

Hospitals are always there, ready to go. Patients and communities rely on the wide range of critical health care services that only hospitals and health systems can provide, including:

  • Provide care to ALL who need it. 24 hours a day. 7 days a week. 365 days a year
  • Deliver babies.
  • Care for people admitted to hospitals.
  • Provide employment for thousands.
  • Provide emergency care.
  • Mend bodies.
  • Promote wellness.
  • Give Hope
  • Offer care through lifesaving technology
  • Train tomorrow’s caregivers and more

South Dakota Hospitals continue to find ways to support the needs of patients. Health care workers have stood strong for their communities, and they have a vital role in our society to keep communities healthy.
